IALG Seminars 2025-2026

Warsaw, Adelaide, The Hague

The first seminar of the 19th IALG group will take place in Warsaw, Poland, and is hosted by Frontex in November/December 2025. The second seminar will take place in Adelaide, Australia, and is hosted by South Australia Police in March 2026. The third and final IALG seminar will take place in The Hague, The Netherlands, and is hosted by Netherlands Police in May/June 2026.

What Leadership Do We Need for the Future of Policing?

The assignment asks the IALG group to envision sustainable leadership in policing, focusing on values-based leadership, global collaboration, ethical policing, innovation, and community safety. Key themes include developing ethical and inclusive leadership, fostering international partnerships, utilizing emerging technologies responsibly, supporting officer wellbeing, and ensuring effective recruitment, retention, and training of future leaders.
