The 18th Pearls in Policing Conference was hosted in Dubai, UAE, from 10 – 13 May 2025 and was organised by Dubai Police and the Pearls Secretariat in The Netherlands. The theme of the conference was ‘Enhancing Ethical Policing in a rapidly Changing Landscape Dominated by Technology’.

The 17th Pearls in Policing Conference was hosted in Vancouver, Canada, from 8 – 11 June 2024 and was organised by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Pearls Secretariat in The Netherlands. The theme of the conference was ‘The Future of Policing: Fostering Trust and Legitimacy’.

The 16th Pearls in Policing Conference was hosted in Sydney, Australia, from 21 – 23 May 2023 and was organised by the by the Australian Federal Police and the New South Wales Police Force, together with the Pearls Secretariat in The Netherlands. The theme of the conference was “Next-Gen Policing: The New Reality”.
Pearls Conference 2022
The 15th Pearls in Policing Conference was hosted in Bern, Switzerland, from 25 – 29 June 2022 and was organised by the Swiss Federal Office of Police and the Pearls Secretariat in The Netherlands. The theme of the conference was “Change as the New Normal: Policing Diverse and Complex Societies”.
Pearls Conference 2020/21
Due to the ongoing uncertainty, global measurements and travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic it was unfortunately not possible to deliver the Pearls conference physically in June 2020. Therefore the 14th Pearls in Policing conference was postponed to June 2021 and took place on a virtual platform, hosted by the Netherlands Police. The theme of the conference was ‘Leading Transformation: Creating the Police Workforce of the Future’.

The 13th Pearls in Policing Conference was hosted in New York City, USA, from 22 – 26 June 2019 and organised by the New York Police Department and the Pearls Secretariat in The Netherlands. The theme of the conference was Policing and Partnerships: Shifting Responsibilities.
